The Hermitage Hotel is a 4-star, 79-bedroom hotel with chargeable car parking, ideally situated in the heart of Bournemouth, adjacent to the beautiful Bournemouth Gardens and stunning 7-mile sandy beach, it offers an unbeatable location.

Bournemouth International Centre, is directly opposite the hotel, perfect whether youre attending a show, conference or exhibition. The property is just 150m from the Oceanarium, 2 minutes’ walk to the Pavilion and just 5 minutes’ walk from Bournemouth’s centre and BH2 with its cinema, bars and restaurants.

Newly renovated bedroomshave air conditioning and have been designed with bright ensuite bath or shower rooms, a flat screen Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary WIFI. Many of the bedrooms have fabulous views of the sea and Bournemouth Pier.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not forgetting traditional Sunday lunch and Dorset afternoon tea. For a relaxed experience, unwind with a drink in the cozy hotel bar.

Please note The Hermitage Hotel does not have any leisure facilities on site. Our guests are welcome to use the facilities at our sister property, the Suncliff Hotel, which include a heated indoor pool, sauna, and mini gym. These are located a short walk from the property.

Please note that this property cannot accommodate hen and stag parties. Internet is not always available at the hotel. Please enquire upon arrival.

If dinner is not requested upon booking, then there will be an extra charge in addition to the stated amount.

Please note that onsite parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis and chargeable at GBP 14 per car per night. It is not possible to reserve parking prior to arrival. There are also several public car parks nearby as well.

Any type of extra bed or childs cot or crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by Central Reservations. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

Forpayments made and booking types, the card holder must be present on check-in, and the same card must be presented for a security swipe via chip and pin on arrival. Failure to provide the same card will result in the payment being refunded to the original card, and an alternative payment method requested before check-in will be permitted. The property reserves the right to charge bookings in full up to 48 hours prior to arrival during weekends and peak times, regardless of reservation policies.

Please note that the property can only accommodate dogs with a maximum weight of 10 kg or less.

Please note that dogs will incur an additional charge of GBP 20 per day per dog.

As a matter of courtesy to other guests, dogs are only allowed in certain outdoor public areas at the hotel, mainly because food is served throughout our bars, lounges, restaurants, and terrace areas.

A pet bond must be signed at check-in, along with a GBP 50 refundable deposit. Any damage, soiling, or excessive dog hair on soft furnishings will incur specialist cleaning charges.

Please note that this property can accommodate dogs but will not accommodate other types of pets. Guide and assistance dogs are exempt from this policy, and charges for providing the correct certificate or paperwork are provided on check-in.

The hotel lift services the hotel from the ground, first and second floors. The lift does not go to the third floor, which is serviced by a staircase on the second floor.

Guests who are unable to manage stairs should inform the hotel in advance. Our Superior Rooms and Suites have stair access only. The hotel might not have the flexibility to change rooms to meet this request upon arrival. At least one guest per room must be over 18 years of age; minors are not permitted in their own accommodation without prior consent of the hotel.

Please ensure the correct occupancies are selected on booking; failure to do so may result in your check-in being refused. Identification will be required for age verification purposes.

All bookings of 6 or more rooms booked together will be treated as group bookings as per Oceana Hotels’ policy. Group bookings will be contacted within 7 days of making the reservation and will be treated as advance purchase bookings. The full non-refundable payment will be required within 7 days of the reservation being made; no cancellations, modifications, or refunds will be permitted for any group bookings. These group terms and conditions override any rate policy that has been booked. In case of payments not received within 7 days of the booking being made, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without any liability or further communication.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
