Glen Nevis Youth Hostel - Fort William

Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. It offers easy access to high and low-level walks, mountain biking, kayaking and other adventure sports.

The hostel offers both private rooms and beds in shared dormitories. Each has access to shared bathroom facilities. Guests are also welcome to relax in the shared lounge area and make use of a communal kitchen.

Glen Nevis Youth Hostel offers both continental and full, cooked breakfast options, packed lunches and evening meals. Snacks, alcoholic and soft drinks are available at reception.

The Ben Nevis Distillery is just 20 minutes’ drive from the Glen Nevis Youth Hostel and the Clan Cameron Museum is a 10-minute drive away. The surrounding area is ideal for canyoning and quad biking.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

All bookings willa temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels areentitled to a membership refund).

Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 7 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged.

Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.

Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.

From the age of 12 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation (Please note that due to demand at this location shared accommodation can be unisex). Parties with young children (under 5 years) will only be accommodated in private rooms,available

Hostelling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.

The property doesoffer cooked breakfast.

Check-in from 17.00 until 22.00 and check-out from 07.00 until 10.00.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note thatSpecial Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Standard Twin Room. The majority of rooms have 2 single beds but some rooms may have bunk beds. ;
Triple Room with Bathroom. The triple room offers heating, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 3 beds. ;
Quadruple Room with Private Bathroom. The quadruple room features heating, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 4 beds. ;
Standard Twin Room. The twin room provides heating, as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The unit offers 2 beds.
