Cologin - Oban

Cologin’s chalets, lodges and private houses offer attractive self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, less than 3 miles from Oban on Scotland’s west coast. Surrounded by the green hills of picturesque Lerags Glen, there is free parking and a country pub on site.

All of the non-smoking properties on this family-run farm site have fully-fitted kitchens, a dining area and a living room with a flat-screen smart TV with Freeview channels.
There is free WiFi throughoutour properties. There is also free wifi in the Barn Baryou can bring your laptop, have a coffee and do what you need to but this will only be available during the Barns opening hours.

Cosy bedrooms are complemented by a bathroom with shower or bath. Towels and bed linen are supplied in the five-bedroom farmhouse, and bed linen is provided in the chalets and lodges.

In addition to The Barn Bar, the site has a children’s play area, fishing loch and lots of local walks from your door step.

Nearby Oban has become known as Scotland’s seafood capital, and is home to many restaurants, cafés and coffee shops. There are many small craft shops and some well-known stores, as well as ferry crossings to the Isle of Mull.

Cologin Farmhouse is the only property at Cologin with a private hot tub.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

The Barn Bar is closed Tuesday and Wednesdays but open for lunches and dinners for the rest of the week. During the summer months guests can catch one of the impromptu sessions of folk music played by the locals on Sundays.

Pets are welcome at Cologin on request. Please note there is a surcharge of £5 per pet per night.

The Farmhouse is our only property on site with a private hot tub. None of our lodges have hot tubs.You are advised to bring your own vehicle as this property is not serviced by public transport.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

One-Bedroom Chalet with Terrace. This semi detached holiday home has a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and lounge with flat-screen TV. It contains a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room. Please note, the bedroom is not large enough to accommodate a cot or an extra bed. One pet is welcome, and charges apply. ;
Two-Bedroom Lodge. This holiday home has a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and lounge with flat-screen TV. One cot can be accommodated in either bedroom. Extra bed linen must be requested on booking. Guests that require a pet-friendly lodge should contact the property for more details. Please note, charges apply for pets to stay at the property. ;
Five-Bedroom House. Traditional white harled farmhouse with charming kitchen featuring a ESSEAGA stove, ice maker, fridge freezer andkitchen equipment, including family dining table. Additional dining table for 12 in the separate dining room, featuring open fire and patio doors to the south facing balcony. Large dual aspect lounge with open fire. Ground floor en suite king-size bedroom. Four additional bedrooms on first floor, one more king-size en suite and two large family bathrooms with flexible bedroom layouts with day beds and bunkbeds as required. Bunkbeds are suitable for children only. Pets are welcome at an additional charge and they must be pre-booked before arrival. Parking for up to 4 cars. Free Wi-Fi is included This is the only property on site with a private hot tub. It is heated via a wood burner and will take about 4hrs to heat up with a strong fire going. ;
Cottage with Garden View. This one-bedroom property as a south-facing private garden. There is a wood-burning stove in the lounge and a separate shower cubicle and bath in the bathroom. Pets welcome at an additional charge. Please note there are about 7 external concrete steps to reach the front door. ;
Twin-Bedroom Chalet with Terrace. This one-bedroom holiday home features twin beds and can accommodate 2 guests. ;
Holiday Home. Boasting a private entrance, this holiday home features 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The holiday home also comes with a barbecue. Featuring a terrace with garden views, this holiday home also features a seating area and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The unit has 1 bed.
